Big data project GDELT gathers thousands of news articles and applies an automatic sentiment analysis to them. The process trawls through the text and attempts to gauge whether it's generally upbeat or negative, and gives it a score from +10 to -10.
Here we look at its analysis of thousands of articles mentioning Burundi, as well as the number of articles it has found over the last few weeks.
